The
JABSCO Flex-II Flexible Impeller pumps from ITT Jabsco are
widely used throughout the Food, Dairy, Beverage and
Pharmaceutical Industries. Inexpensive to buy and operate, their
gentle pumping action effectively handles thin, viscous, shear
sensitive, and particle-laden fluids.
Being self-priming, Flex-II pumps may be mounted
either above or below the source of liquid. Their simple
construction makes them easy to select, use and service.
Flex-II units are built in four sizes; 10, 20, 50,
& 100 US gallon per minute (38, 75, 190, 380 litre per minute)
capacities. Each size is offered with a standard or a high
pressure capable impeller. Two seal versions and two port
connection types are available; the pumps are configured with a
pedestal mounting for belt drives or a close-coupled mounting
for use with standard NEMA C-face or IEC frame motors or speed
reduction units.

The
pumps are built to meet the needs of the modern sanitary processor. All
wetted parts are precision-machined, passivated and polished 316 Stainless
Steel. Elastomers are of FDA listed materials. Pumps meet the requirements
of the 3A Sanitary Standard 02-08 and carry the 3A symbol.
The pump’s uncomplicated design reduces cleaning
time and maintenance expense. Removal of eight screws allows the
unit to be disassembled by hand. Periodic maintenance involves
the simple replacement of a seal, impeller and O-rings; - a ten
minute job!
